Sonic motifs from the namesake track regularly float around in the mix, but fsol are masters at extrapolating a theme. This is not a cd maxi-single.
I love "My Kingdom" and this release stand shoulder to shoulder with it. I can't believe I slept on it for a couple of years. Favorite track: Collapsed Structures.

themilkman My Kingdom is one of, if not my Fourier FSOL track, and has been every since it was first released as a single. The magnificent suite that made up the EP was truly fascinating. I must say I’ve been a bit dubious about these reworking (Yage 2019, this, Cascade 2020) but all three are beautiful extrapolations on the original themes. My Kingdom Reimagine is incredibly gorgeous, and it’s so exciting to hear more variations on the original My Kingdom theme. FSOL at their very best. Favorite track: My Kingdom - Path 7.

Originally reached no.13 in the UK charts in 1996 – taken from the top 30 album DEAD CITIES and loosely based on “Rachael’s song” from BLADERUNNER by Vangelis. Now 22 years later the group have recreated the track in 10 new compositions, seamlessly flowing together the journey, it travels from ambient rock to a land of electronica.
